The NSW Government is dedicating $550 million in funding to the Renewables Manufacturing Fund and Low Carbon Product Manufacturing Fund to support renewable energy and low carbon products. Eligible projects include components for renewable energy such as wind towers, solar and batteries. Registrations of Interest closed 28 February 2023.
The Queensland government announced plans to establish local wind manufacturing in the next few years to support giga-scale wind projects in the state.
