The Stride team’s deep experience in renewable energy was gained from working in both the public and private sector.

This expertise stretches across both national and international issues, in areas including policy, planning, network connections, finance, construction, engineering, stakeholder engagement, communications and development.

Amy Kean

Partner

Amy is an energy executive with more than 20 years’ experience in energy markets across the public and private sectors, nationally and internationally. Before joining Stride, Amy was the NSW Renewable Energy Advocate, supporting 36 large-scale renewable energy projects with planning, connection, finance and construction. She was responsible for the NSW Transmission Infrastructure Strategy, the Pumped Hydro Roadmap and the energy programs. Amy has also worked at the Clean Energy Council, Pinpoint Mastercard, Accenture, Hydro Tasmania and was a board member of Renewables SA, Renew and REEEP.

Luke Osborne

Partner

Luke is a business leader with a diverse, multidisciplinary background and 20 years’ experience in the renewable energy industry. He has an MBA, is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, and has a technical background overlaid with decades of commercial and management experience. Luke has led commercial success at innovative renewable energy companies across the world. He was in the founding team and the Chief Operating Officer of two market-leading companies: Windlab Systems and Reposit Power. He has also advised the NSW Government on the Emerging Energy Program and social licence strategies. Luke is also Chair of the RE-Alliance.

Nicola Saltman

Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager

Nicola is an expert stakeholder engagement and communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience in climate change and energy in Australia and overseas. She has designed and delivered award-winning programs and solutions across government, not-for profit and commercial sectors including at WWF, local councils and NSW Government. With passion and expertise, Nicola helps Stride’s clients craft best-practice stakeholder engagement and social licence strategies, unpack complex policies, and build profile.

Hanna Gustavson

Project Manager

Hanna has a Masters in Professional Engineering and a background in environmental science and renewable energy systems. Before joining Stride, she worked in the civil design and environment team at an engineering consultancy. She has been leading projects and analysis for Stride, and brings with her a passion for the renewable energy industry and low-carbon energy solutions.

David Robinson

Renewable Energy Analyst

David has a background in mechanical engineering, data analysis and environmental economics, graduating from the ANU. He brings an enthusiastic and creative approach to solving renewable energy problems combining technical and economic expertise.

David plays a supporting role across Stride’s projects and undertakes targeted research towards decarbonising the economy.

Megan Holbeck

Communications Consultant

Megan has been working with words for two decades, writing, editing and crafting concise communications. She has a diverse role at Stride: her remit includes everything from polishing grant applications to writing client’s press releases to crafting compelling key messages to be sprinkled liberally through all future communication.

Josephone North
Josephine North

Renewable Energy Policy and Communications

Josephine is a policy and communications specialist with more than 10 years’ experience in renewable energy.

 Josephine worked in the NSW Government for several years, helping to launch the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap and EnergyCo before joining the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) as a Regulation Analyst. She also has a background in Corporate Social Responsibility and advertising in Australia and Europe. 

At Stride, Josephine supports clients with policy and regulation insights and tender submissions. 

 

Donald Ritchie

Analyst 

Donald has a background in politics and education, having studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at ANU and completed Teach for Australia. He has previously worked as a political advisor. 

He brings an understanding of rural communities, a deep interest and understanding of politics and economics and a passion for renewable energy projects. 

Donald’s family has been directly involved with developing and hosting renewable projects, given him first-hand experience in effective stakeholder engagement with landholders.
